Monti Lessini: Breathtaking Must-Ride Off-Road Motorcycle Trail in Northern Italy

Warm-Up on Scenic On-Road Route

While the weather wasn’t ideal, the off-road track and the incredible scenery made this short excursion in the Lessinia Natural Park unforgettable. Starting from Velo Veronese, take the fast and winding SP6 for a scenic introduction to the Lessini mountains. This paved route is perfect for a gentle warm-up ([invalid URL removed] – see below for details).

Keep an Eye Out for Wildlife!

Enjoy the ride, but be aware of wildlife crossings on this route. You might encounter some unexpected furry (or feathery) friends!

Off-Road Adventure Begins!

After just 4km the road takes a detour on the right near “Malga Parparo di Sopra” and the fun starts with the beginning of the off-road path!

The 25km gravel and rocky track takes you deep into the heart of the Lessinia Natural Park. Share the path with cyclists and hikers, but there’s plenty of space to have some off-road fun. For a truly immersive experience, visit during the week to enjoy the peace and isolation this area offers.

Challenge Yourself: Reach Rifugio Primaneve

Confident riders can climb to Rifugio Primaneve. Savor local delicacies on the terrace and soak up the sun (unlike my experience!). It will be difficult to go away from this relaxing terrace, even more so if you overdo with the culinary entertainment, but you are only halfway through your adventure.

• Passo delle Fittanze: A popular spot for motorcyclists and rally enthusiasts, connecting to the “On-Road Variation” route.
